I am implementing DHCP in my Site. I will be having 2 nos. of DHCP servers in my Site. One DHCP server is working properly. Other DHCP server is malfunctioning. The problem is when I define a scope and give the lease period of 30 days, the lease expires in 20 minutes. This causes IP clashing. For eg. I have defined a scope 10.2.210.0. Range is from 10.2.210.101 to 10.2.210.200 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0. Lease period is 30 days. I have 10 PC’s in this segment. All 10 PC’s take the lease serially. But after 20 minutes when I see in the Active lease option, some of the IP addresses are dropped.
Can you help me to solve my problem.
