I have a laptop connected to a LAN running Windows NT 4.0 SP6a. The laptop keeps trying to connect to its dial up connection every ten minutes, even though it is connecting to a LAN. I have selected the option under IE to not let Internet applications use this connection, and I have also made sure that in outlook it says to never use the dialup connection. But it still tries to connect every ten minutes. Can anyone give me any suggestion to this issue?
