Dial-up Connection Problem

I am using windows xp professional, My internet dial-up connection is keep on connecting. how can i solve this problem.

Disable auto connection via Internet Options, Connections, and select Never dial a connection.

You can also open Internet Explorer, click on "Tools", then "Options" then "Connections" and select "Never Dial."

Always trying to connect without you telling it to. Classic symptom of adware/spyware/porn dialers.

Download, install, update and run Ad-Aware SE and Spybot Search & Destroy which are available at

You might have a spyware program trying to call mamma.

You need to scan your computer for pest. You can go to this site and they will do an online scan and tell you what you have.

Look for the Red Beacon. Once the scan is complete you can open the items and click on the descriptions. It will tell you what they are and give you manual removal instructions from CA's database.

It will not remove anything after the scan. I bought PestPatrol after an online scan. The only one I recommend buying.
