Dialup problem when upgrading 2000 to xp

By Basir_Noutash ·
I have a Toshiba Tecra M1 laptop, it had windows 2000 which I had installed it with recovery CD. Now I upgraded to XP. I got a problem with creating dialup network connections. When I go to create new connection wizard and choose setup connection manually on the next step, only the creating broadband connection is selectable the others are grey. And also when I want to start the Remote Acces Connection Manager service it says: access is denied.
I installed the critical update that is supposed to fix this problem from microsoft but still it does not help.

Please help.
Thanks a bunch

It seems that your having driver problems, try downloading the latest VENDOR specific drivers most of the Microsoft drivers work but they tend to be buggy
