I installed Ms Office 2000 on a Novell Netware Workstation. The system is a 486 running 166 MHZ. After a complete installation, I get a “Network did not remain resident error” along with a few “beeps” on re-boot, then won’t proceed to a login. After uninstalling Office 2000, the error is gone. The same thing happens when I install Norton Antivirus. How can I rememdy this problem??
