Digital Certs and Mandatory Profiles

I am using mandatory profiles on Windows 2000 workstations. When the user launches a website which requires a digital cert the website will not come up. If you change the mandatory profile to a roaming or local profile then the digital cert works fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
