Digital ID's

I have been having difficulty with a digital ID in Outlook 2000. We use Exchange 5.5 KMS for digital ID's. A few days ago Outlook informed the user that the password for the digital ID has expired. The ID on the Exchange server does not expire for afew monthes yet. In attempting to rectify the situation I have attempted to recover the Security Key on the Exchange server but everytime I attempt to get Digital ID in Outlook it tells me: An error occurred while creating your security request. Next I deleted the users Key on the Exchange server and requested a new one but I still receive the same error when attempting to get Digital ID. I can get a new digital ID from a different machine but not from the original machine. What is the best wayto correct this?

Just a log shot but have you tried a different user on the problem PC? Do you get the same results? If not you could have a corrupt profile. Try deleting the profile on the PC as an admin and then logon as the user again. This will create what the PC thinks is a new user. Hope this helps.
