I have a 3COM V.Everything 56K Courier modem.
I have set auto answer to pick up on first
ring. It does just that when I call it from
a true analog phone. When I go to my desk and
attempt to call it from a digital PBX type
phone system, it justrings and rings, never
picks up. Is there an S-register setting or
something that will allow this Courier to
respond properly to a digital signal. This
failure to pick up occurs on digital phones
internal to our business as well as in havingoutside people try from their digital systems.
