Direct cable connection

am having a problem linking direct cable connection with windows 2000 computer to a computer with windows 98. The problem is with the password request when the computer98 is the guest. what i want is to do away with the password when logging in withcomputer2000 complete so as to access the host computer2000. please advise.

This is NOT an authoritative answer, just my ideas.

I think DCC acts like a network connection. Win9x does not have computer accounts in Win2k therefore access denied (password dialog) must be caused by user account authentication failure. Try creating a user account within Win2K for the logon account on Win9x.
