I am trying to setup a connection between a PC with Windows 98 and a PC with Windows 2000 with Direct Cable Connection using LPT1 (Parallel cable connection) to transfer files from oldpc to newpc. The Connection always drops because it does not recognize the user name, password, and domain. I have setup the oldPC for the newPC to login to; however the cable connection keeps disconnecting. How do setup a connection between these machines to transfer files from oldPC to newPC?
