I am taking a course called computer organization and design. I am trying to figure out how to do direct mapped cache. Does anyone know how to help me figure out how to figure out where words go in the cache, how to index them, how to tag them, etc?
I am pulling my hair out and am ready to throw the towel in.
Any help is appreciated.
