I am attempting to import the Global Address Book (GAL) from our parent company. They did an export of the GAL and sent me the .csv file where I imported it onto a non-production server into a separate recipients container. The problem is that once the import is complete the smtp address of my parent company changes to the smtp address of my company.
I am also confused as how to hide the newly imported address from all users in my organization. Do I need to create address book views? Currently all users default address book is the global address book in outlook, is their any way to hide the newly imported address from the users or is there a way to import them into the new recipients container with out them showing up in the GAL.
