Directory list doesn’t update.

I am having a problem with the 3.5″ floppy in Toshiba laptop. When I put in a diskette and try to do a directory list (double-click in Explorer), I get the cached directory of a previous diskette. It is not sensing that I have removed one and put in a different diskette.
