Disable chatting

I want to disable all chatting software (MSN messenger, ICQ , Yahoo Messenger etc) on our companies network. We are using Windows NT 4 Server with Microdoft Proxy Server installed.
Will disabling chatting effect any other thing ? Please tell me theprocedure for disabling chatting
