Disable default password setting

by dmerz . Updated 24 years, 8 months ago

When you share a folder on a Windows 95 machine and put a password on it each time there after if someone accesses it over a network it askes for a password which is good. What is bad is it also defaults with a check mark in the box before the line “do you want windows to remember this password”.We would like to change the settings to make it default to no check mark in the box that way you would have to physically put a check mark in the box to make it remember the password. We want windows toask for a password each time the file is accessed. Please explain how this can be done.
