How do I disable a lock computer function on windows XP? Normally see on the <CRTL>+<ALT>+<DEL> dialog box.

Run the MMC program. Select File -> Add Snap-in. Add a Group Policy for the local computer. Navigate to User Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Ctr Alt Del Options

Well! There are more ways than one.

Here is one registry method:

User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
System]
System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
System]
Value Name: DisableLockWorkstation
Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data: (0 = disabled, 1 = enabled)
