disable MSN

HI,

I am looking for a way to prevent user to use MSN messenger on their computer. Win2003 server and XP or Win2000 computers.

Any idea? Port, not anymore because use port 80
gpo? script? registry?

and what about MSN web?

Wrong port

MSN Doesn't use Port 80, it uses Port 1863.

MSN Web uses Port 80, but if you want to, I think it uses a Javascript. So if you disable the use of Javascript through a Group Policy, that should be fine.

MS makes it very difficult to disable MSN. It's kind of like a movie's villian...as soon as you think it's licked...it comes roaring back.
