I know about the registry hack through which we can disable all default administrative shares in Windows XP.
But I want to know if there is any way by which we can only disable drive sharing (ex, C$, D$) sharing without disabling admin$ and IPC$.
As disabling admin$ or IPC$ on pc’s of all users will not allow us to patch the systems centrally.
Can anyone let us know of some solution for this.
