Does anyone know how to disable the cancel button on a windows 95/98/ME network (NT)logon screen and force the user to type a username and password? I know it can be done I'm just not sure how.

This was exactly what I needed. Angie e-mailed me the answer and it worked just great.

If I'm remembering correctly, you need to eaither create a group policy to require authentication on the domain or use poledit to change the value on each machine.

Greanted, this doesn't get rid of the cancel button, just prvent the user from pressing it and being able to use the default user and not authenticating on the network.

Thank you for your reply, but I am looking for a entry that can be applied to individual machines. angie_wright@the-connection.com provided me with exactly what I was looking for.
