I have read on the net that printers read the Windows system time and reduce the usable ink in the cartridges.
Epson and others have been sued and had to pay users in many states but continue the practice.
My RX580 is costing me a small fortune.
Possibly someone offers an add-on USB pci card that does not allow access to or transmit time info. Or possibly software for such a card.
The landfills and our environment are also a major concern.
