Has anyone out there ever had a problem with new files and/or changes to existing
files disappearing when the user logs out?
This is happening to one of my users. When he creates/modifies any file in a
particular subdirectory of his home directory (which lives on our NT4 server,
then logs out/restarts his computer, the new file and/or modifications to the
existing file have disappeared.
I have turned on auditing for the subdirectory, but the event log is not
recording any activity on the subdirectory, even though I witnessed him making
changes to the files within several times.
He has no trouble with any of the other folders in his home directory.
The workstation is running NT4 workstation, and the server where thesubdirectory
lives is at NT4 server, both running the latest service packs.
