We have an intermittent disappearing email problem. It affects some (not all) users on NT4 and W98 and on versions of OE from 4-5.5. Mail will disappear from the inbox or in some circumstances a folder may vanish and not be found. All the usual avenues have been explored ie Show all messages, virus scanning, if it hadn’t happened to myself I’d have blamed the user!! Mail is collected from a linux-based mail server and downloaded onto the individual machine. We have a NT based network with approx 100 users.
