Discuss and Research Add-Ons

Recently the discuss and research add-ons don’t work in my IE 6 browser any longer. The buttons are there, but they are no longer listed in my explorer bar in the view menu. These options still work in Word 2003. I was wondering if someone can help me restore these add-ons. I’m on XP
