Dishwasher doesn’t work after electrical short

Hi,

I have a dishwasher from IKEA:
Model: Rengora
Type: GHE623DB4
1950 Watt
220-240 Volt ~50 Hertz
after some electrical installation failure, I am not electrician but probably electrical short because cables were burned in installation box, my dishwasher stopped working or to be precise:
when I plug it to the power source I’m hearing only some sound – I think that it pumps off the water from inside but there is no single option turned on – I mean, there is no light on the side of any washing program and I can’t even turn the dishwasher off. I would be much obliged if someone would help me for a God’s sake! (I am not created for such horrible things like washing the dishes with my own hands… hahah).

https://www.ikea.com/au/en/manuals/lagan-integrated-dishwasher__AA-1402780-3.pdf and more searches find NO SERVICE MANUAL so the chance of self repair is slim to none. Also found no spare parts for this model so it’s likely a model made for IKEA with a distinct possibility that repair will cost as much as the replacement.

Did you have to put the dishwasher together like most products from IKEA ?

In all seriousness, if you had a local appliance repair specialist, they might be able to fix it. I wouldn’t bother trying to contact IKEA to fix this type of issue. Good luck.

I think no… I mean, maybe the doors were separately.. but not any electronical parts.

Just to mention, I would be willing to bet that the dishwasher was made by someone else and IKEA just sells it under their own name.

I did find this via a Google search:
