I am trying to free up disk space using all aspects of the disk clean up tool. I have not done this in a long time and know I have multiple restore points saved – which in the past have been a huge hard drive hog over time. I have repeated clicked the System Restore tab on the disk clean up menu – it them asks me if I am sure I want to delete old restore points. I click yes and then……nothing. I am down to 10% disk space on this hard drive but there are very few programs and files left on this drive. This is the drive where all system files automatically go. I am running on an old XP Acer lap top.
