Disk Clean up Windows 2000 Server

By mtreske ·
Hi,
I have a server that is in dire conditon with it's disk space. I cannot defrag it due to the
lack of space. I've delted the Temp files, any
windows .scr files, templates that sort of thing.
Can anyone point me to a website or send me a list
of files that could be delted so I can regain enough space to run the defrag? I only have 200mb left on a mirrored 2gig drive.
Thanks!

I have to be honest, I can't believe you are running W2K server on a 2gb drive. I would say defragging is the least of your worries. But if you really want to you could manually shrink the swap file so you have enough space to defrag then put it back. This isn't a production server is it?

I made an error in my question, the drive is a
18G that is mirrored, and when the tech set the partition he only gave the C: drive 2Gig. Sorry about the error. Still isn't great, but it isn't a production server, it was intended for file storage.
I did move the paging file yesterday and that freed up enough space to defrag it. My next step is to get two new hot swap drives and install them.

Thanks
