Disk space & Hibernate

Hello everyone,

For getting more disk space, I used many ways successfully and I got my space back on C: drive. To gain more space, I disabled my hibernate on Win 7 Ultimate(32 bit) using standard procedure (using command powercfg -h off). Now, I can not see hibersys.fil on C: drive neither i can see the option "Hibernate" when i click on start->shutdown button. It means that i disabled the hibernate successfully.

Initially my disk space was 1.67 GB. When I execute the above command, as per my expectations, disk space increased to 3.21 GB. But when I reboot the computer, surprisingly my disk space gets reduced to 1.21 GB. I don't understand what is wrong with my disk space. After Hibernate command, I did not install any new software/tool. So, after rebooting my laptop, i was expecting the hard disk space as 3.21 GB, but that did not happened.

Is it the case that after rebooting the laptop, hibernate gets started automatically. But if that is the case here I would like to mention that even after rebooting the laptop, I can not see hibersys.fil on C: drive neither i can see the option "Hibernate" when i click on start->shutdown button. So, i think it means that hibernate is not getting started automatically after reboot of laptop.

Please help me as I have to gain more disk space.

Thanks in advance.
