DiskMgmt.msc on Win2000 server

I stopped the mirroring of my ultrascsi3 dynamic disks with the disk management console on a Win2000 serveur and tried to find the Diskpart utility. Before discovering that this is only available in the recovery console interpretor and that no file are needed, I copied the Diskpart.exe from WinXP pro.
I playe with this and suddenly the disk management console was inoperant: a blank screen with menu bar at the to where run with diskmgmt.msc ; and no action at all when call inside the storage management in the Computer management console.

What to do ? Do I have reinstall, to stat-up a new service (Logical drive manager ?) or do I have to edit the registry ?
