Display Adaptor Trouble

Hi

I’ve installed windows98 on one of my computers.
The display is only showing 16bit colour though.
I have the drivers for the monitor, but dont have anything for the display adaptor.
I dont know what driver to download an install.
I want to know how to check, who the manufactures of the display adaptor is or what make it is.
How do i check that in Windows 98.
