2 weeks before I added a dynet ddr1, 1gb, 333mhz, 2.5v ram to the existing 256mb
i installed the new ram and the computer just ran fine
but a week after the problem started:-
1) sometimes display just goes blank especially when I start or play counter strike
2) once the cpu started making noise with the green power light blinking rapidly just like when ram is not inserted
3) sometimes a blue screen popped up saying that a new device is not funtioning
4) cpu restarts on its own
i tried using only one ram at a time in different slots but problems persist
usually the computer just runs fine but sometimes it does the above mentioned things
i have P4 2.44Ghz with graphics accelerator
845 gv motherboard.
the worry is that now even the old ram gives the same problem
so is it an issue with my motherboard have i damaged it(although i handled it with great care) or some software problem
any insight is appreciated
please help i am desperate
