Display Problem....

Hello sir ,

To day i got a problem. I had a pc which having the operating system windows NT(Workstation).when i am not in home,some body change the display setting which is not support to my graphics card.
When i start a system then it will nothing to visible accept line.it will display all the things but it's not properly visible .so nochance to change display setting to proper way.

I know how solve this prob but it having another problem that was i remove time to dilay option at startup to choose operating system from system properties.

So please sole that.

hi ,
When your system starts select "WINT4 WORKSTATION(VGA MODE) ,(there will be two mode select the second mode) . the system will boot without loading the disply drivers , go to display properties and change the resolution to the minmum restart the system , after system restarts change the resolution to which your moniter supports

1. Try to use space key at boot sequence and chose "last know good configuration"
2. Make a bottable diskette for NT
3. Put your HDD in other computer and edit/change boot.ini from your HDD

I make a test with first point:
After succesful pressing the space key, use F3 key to exit and you will receive the screen where you can chose "VGA mode"

NT boot diskette:
Format a floppy on an NT machine and then copy files:
NTDETECT, NTLDR and BOOT.ini
Modify BOOT.ini according with your HDD partitions and OS installed partition.

About modifing boot.ini:
[boot loader]

just hold down any arrow key after your bios finises loading. The selection things will fly, but then you can select the proper start selection
