Display Property icon causes illegal op.

Have Win98. Have display property shortcut icon on taskbar. I recently downloaded IE6, and upgraded DOS. Now, every time I click on the Display Icon to change my screen size, I get “explorer caused invalid page fault in KRNL386.exe…..”. I’ve been into MSCONFIG to uncheck several items on start up. No matter what I uncheck, I get the above illegal op. Any help greatly appreciated!
