    Display security warning at login

    There was an article that you can add a security warning that display at login to windows nt users. My company has some and still running Windows 98 machines and I would like to know how to create the same security warning in Windows 98 and in WindowsNT/2000/XP?

      Yes you can do this by modifying the registry on windows200 and win98.

      Modify the registry keys LegalNoticeCaption and LegalNoticeText.

      for W2K use HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WinLogon\

      for win98 use HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WinLogon\

      An easier way of doing this is use x-setup from Xteq systems available on their website at http://www.xteq.com/
