Displaying .tif files in Word 2007

I am currently using Word 2007. I’ve copied and pasted numerous .tif (tiff) files with a document that I’m working on. When I select the “Full Screen Reading” under “View” then I can see the pictures just fine. However, if I select “Print Layout” option under “View” then I see only a few pictures. The rest just look like thumbnails. I’d appreciate ANY feedback as to how I can get the .tif files to display in “Print Layout” Mode. Thank you.
