By bpa888 ·
I have a DKC 5000 scanner made by SONY, it is attached to a SCSI card and also fucntions in conjunction with a microsope. This device is used for medical purposes only, I tried to install the software ofr this devide under WINDOWS 2000 but when I goto the device manager I get an exclamation mark because WIN2000 does not have a driver for it and the software package used with this device doesn't use the driver correctly causing it not to be recognized. Please help?

DKC 5000 scanner

I did a bunch of looking for drivers and information.
Sony scarcely acknowledges that this camera exists!

They only have a driver for Windows 9X posted on their web site.
This is the link to where I found it.

If it is a newer version than the driver you have, it might help.

From the file name, it appears to be a twain driver, so, it is possible that one of the major image software packages may have a driver for it.

Start by contacting Adobe to see if they support your camera in Photoshop.
Then start checking with the other "professional" imaging software vendors.

Sorry that I couldn't be of more help.
