DLL files win98SE

By dean_eshelman ·
When starting windows I get the following message
"Error Starting Program, a required DLL file, BJINTLCORE_1_1_DDR.DLL, was not found"

I can not find any reference to this file- what it is, what program is starting, where I can extract a copy of the file?

wild guess: something to do with bubble jet printer. can you look in Start/settings/control panel add remove programs and remove any programs having to do with printers you don't use anymore... or it you think this is on right track, uninstall and reinstall current printer software (with latest version for you os)

You might find the file at:
http://www.dll-files.com/
for which they appreciate a $2- voluntary donation/fee.

Hi Dean

The message may be generated because a program that has been uninstalled has not removed all of its registry entries, or maybe there is an entry in Win.ini etc. Search for the text bjintlcore_1_1_ddr.dll in files and folders off C:\Windows and see if it comes up with anything.

If you find a reference to it in a file, then you may also see a reference to the path to the bjintlcore.. file itself which may give you an indication if it was being referenced by a program that no longer exists on your system.

Good luck

You have a Cannon Printer perhaps? Unplug the printer temporarily, boot the computer...Still getting the error? If not, then reinstall the printer software after uninstalling it like the gentleman said, then re-attach the printer. www.dll.com did not have a listing of the file, but Cannon did.

this is just when windows starts up it loads programs and if you deleted a program with out uninstalling it, youwill get an error such as this, I would try to do a scanreg /restore to a time when you did not have this error. or if this does not work try looking for it in the c directory and uninstall it from there. You can also do a registry find and remove all the files from there. . But you wolud have to go into your registry to do this. I would not recommend this unless you have backed up your system. One more thing that may be able to help is a system file checker called sfc. I hope this has been of some help. Lady12farwalker
