Dll Intialization Failed

On one of my users workstation (NT) I am getting an error message that will go away if user clicks ok. This error only happens when their machine has been inactive for 5mins and their screen saver kicks in and locks. Which means they must use the “CTRL ALT Delete” key to login again.

ERROR:
Initialization of the dynamic link library c:\winnt\system32\kernel.dll failed. The process is terminating abnormally.

What exactly does this mean? Whenever the user clicks ‘ok’ it lets them in the system
