DNS

I have a client who is running a NT4 sp6a box with MS DNS running with Winproxy 3.0 firewall as well as Mdaemon 4 for emails. DNS has been correctly setup with the primary updating the slave accordingly. However clients behind the firewall can only receive and not send emails. I believe that DNS & tcp/ip could be corrupted. Any ideas?
