We are running in mixed mode. Our DNS server is 2000. The DNS reverse lookup record for itself keeps dissappearing. Example, the server name is DNS_SERVER the reverse lookup record for DNS_SERVER keeps disappearing. We can get it back by using ipconfig /registerdns. Give it an hour or so and it is not there anymore. Nothing in Event logs. How do we get the entry to stay in there?
