DNS entries

I have some entries in my Windows 2K DNS that show up as (Same as parent folder). Some have the same IP address as another machine. What do these entries mean? Thanks.

The other machine with which this entry is shared should be your DNS server. The parent folder this entry is referring to is the folder for the Lookup Zone(s) (Forward and/or Reverse) for your DNS domain. This is done this way so that when someonepings either your domain name or the machine name of your DNS server, the correct IP address is given.
