Hi, I’m trying to sort out our DNS issues, we have NT4 domain controller, but a win2k server has DNS running on it. If i do an nslookup in the cmd prompt i get this:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>nslookup
*** Can’t find server name for address 192.168.10.5: Non-existent domain
DNS request timed out.
timeout was 2 seconds.
*** Can’t find server name for address 195.62.201.6: Timed out
Default Server: localhost
Address: 127.0.0.1
We have no ‘hosts’ set up either, but i’m not sure what this means – do i need to manually put entries in here? Any help would be great.
