DNS on Linux

By aaronlandis ·
I'm trying to setup DNS on my Linux server (Fedora) and I was just looking for a general listing of the files I should take a look at... I now I need to look at the resolv.conf file, the named.conf file but what others should I check to ensure they are configured properly and in the correct locations.

Ok, I have a zone setup for my internal domain now and I actually got named to start. Now my problem is that DNS works only for external hostnames. For some reason I can't get it to work iternally. Can someone give me an example of what my named.conf file argument should look like for internal lookups.
