DNS question

I have attempted to change the name on a computer running NT. Upon restart and attempted logon, I get the error that the primary domain is blank.

I have entered the DOMAIN name. In windows 2000, I had the option to enter the primary suffix. I can’t find the same option in NT. Is there a way to do this or is this not even the problem.
