I am running a Win2K private network behind a Winroute pro firewall/email/dns/dhcp server. I want to host my own internet DNS so that I don’t have to pay a monthly fee to have someonelse host my DNS for mail only (we don’t have a web page).
How difficult is it to set this up? And is there a resource for configuring this? One other question is do I need to reserve the domain names of ns.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com as well as just mydomain.com?
