I have assigned one public ip for internet browsing and one (alias) private ip for intranet applications,to my single network interface card.Default gateway is my router ip which is public ip.I added my isp server ip as my primary dns server,local dns server (which is on windows 2000 advanced server) as secondary.I have to change the dns search order randomly for internet browsing or i have to remove the local dns server from the list.Then my intranet applications won’t work.On net I found thisis b’coz of windows2000 server list management feature which queries the dns server for one second if it doesn’t get response it queries the second server.
