DNS server a packet addressed to itself

By trinianouk ·
Hi;
I receently installed a new server with Windows 2003 SP1.
I been getting may entries in the DNS log with the following:
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: DNS
Event Category: None
Event I 7062
Date: 2/16/2006
Time: 4:51:30 AM
User: N/A
Computer: TRICON-SERVER03
Description:
The DNS server encountered a packet addressed to itself on IP address 192.168.32.99. The packet is for the DNS name ".". The packet will be discarded. This condition usually indicates a configuration error.

These errors are somtimes logged @ around 4.50am...when tere is no one in the office!!!???

Can anyone give some assistance as to track down the problem. I've already looked at support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;235689

Not much help.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.
Jason.

It can be a server report what you can e-mail to domain administrators. Maybe this messages are not configured where to send and the server want to send for himself.
