I have a user who brought me his personal laptop. It will not resolve DNS at all.
I can do the following:
ping the server successfully
surf by IP successfully
I have tried:
ipconfig /release and renew
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh int ip reset
netsh winsock reset catalog
manually setting DNS on Client
The user is pulling valid information from DHCP as it is the same as mine (statically assigned).
