Is there a way to document all of the NTFS user rights on the server in Win NT? If not is there a tool available for purchase?

From the command line on your NT server, you can use the CACLS command to do this and use a pipe to send it a file. From the root of the drive you want to document, type the command as follows: cacls *.* /T > [filename]. This will dump all your user rights info for all directories and subdirectories on the current drive to a file called [filename] on the root of the drive. It’s rudimentary and not the most user-friendly format, but you will get all of the information. Hope this helps!

We went with a tool called Enterprise Security Reporter.
