Does anyone know how to write VB Macro’s for Excel and/or PowerPoint?

I’m trying to create a macro for Excel 2007 and PowerPoint 2007 that will insert the filepath instead of having to manually type this or inserting. I’ve successfully managed to accomplish this with Word 2007, but Excel and PowerPoint don’t follow the same concept.
