Does only Intel currently sell quad-core PCs?

Is Intel the only place to currently get quad-core PCs? I’ve been looking for quad-core AMD Athlon chip PCs, but haven’t been able to find any — is AMD quad-core still in development?

Also is it possible to get AMD Opteron chips in quad-core, and can these chips be installed on desktop PC systems, or only server-based systems?
